真题原文1：

Women are particularly susceptible to developing depression and anxiety disorders in response to stress.

本句中含有固定结构be susceptible to sth/doing sth （易…，倾向于…），表达“在面对压力时，某人很容易出现某种状况。”比如，如果你想表达坚毅品格的重要性，就可以说：People weak in mind are particularly susceptible to giving up their goals in response to difficulties and challenges, for which reason they may never get what they want.

真题原文2:

Alvarez’s experience demonstrates the importance of finding ways to diffuse stress before it threatens your health and your ability to function.

同学们需要熟记本句核心结构：…demonstrates the importance of…，用于表达“…说明/证明了…的重要性”。很多英语一作文考题都可以运用此结构点出论点，比如某年英语一大作文要求考生通过审视漫画，从乐观与悲观的角度探讨人生态度问题，我们就可以写：The picture demonstrates the importance of holding an optimistic attitude when facing unpleasant situations.

本句可用于描述某情况发生了变化，某类人乐于促成、利用这种变化。如，谈到购物习惯的变化，可以这样写：

The shopping habits have changed dramatically over the years（last decade）, and companies have been more than willing to persuade their customers to buy all kinds of items through the Internet.

In the case of NBA players, their increase in height appears to result from the increasingly common practice of recruiting players from all over the world.

句型“In the case of…, …appears to result from…”可用于提出一个话题范围，并分析某个方面的原因尤其是英语二的大作文，由于基本上是针对大学生活或居民生活的某一个侧面出题，这个句型就非常好用。2019年英语二关于大学生毕业去向的图表作文，便可以这样展开第二段论述：
